Comparing CloudyFy TV with others

Pick the platform you are actually evaluating. Each page carries the same three things: the cost worked out at 25 and 50 screens, a feature table that states what CloudyFy TV does on every row, and a section on where the other platform is genuinely better.

Head to head

  • CloudyFy TV vs Xibo

For buyers weighing a free AGPLv3 self-hosted CMS against a hosted one. Xibo gives you the source and cloud plans from $4.90 a display; CloudyFy TV gives you more storage per device and published support response times.
  • CloudyFy TV vs Signagelive (Navori)

For Signagelive customers whose vendor changed hands. Navori has been in signage since 1998, and it publishes no price and runs no self-serve signup.
  • CloudyFy TV vs Yodeck

For small fleets choosing between a free single screen and a paid plan. Yodeck lists 147+ apps; CloudyFy TV is cheaper from the first paid screen, puts proof of play on every plan, and adds SOC 2 Type II to the same ISO 27001 and ISO 9001.
  • CloudyFy TV vs OptiSigns

For buyers who want a permanent free tier. OptiSigns gives away 3 screens; CloudyFy TV puts proof of play, scheduling and offline playback on the entry plan.
  • CloudyFy TV vs ScreenCloud

For internal-communications teams comparing the premium anchor in this category with a much lower entry price.

The two comparisons buyers open first

  • Yodeck

Yodeck is the volume brand in this category and the closest thing to a default choice for a small fleet. It sells a genuinely free forever plan for one screen, gives away a player device with annual plans, and lists its player apps in the app stores. CloudyFy TV wins the arithmetic from the first paid screen and matches Yodeck's ISO 27001 and ISO 9001, adding SOC 2 Type II; Yodeck leads on app count.

  • Xibo

Xibo is the open-source incumbent, and the only vendor here whose software you can run for nothing if you host it yourself. That is a real answer for a team with a server and a sysadmin. It is not a fair comparison with a hosted plan until you price the server, the backups, the upgrade work and the perpetual player licences.

Want to run this comparison yourself?

Four steps that help you shortlist the right options, in the order they reduce the field.

  • 1. Multiply the per-screen price by your real screen count

Including the screens you plan to add this year. The rate per screen is what decides the invoice, and a video wall multiplies the count by the number of panels on almost every platform.

  • 2. Check the price is on the page

One of the five platforms here publishes no price at all, and another lists its cloud prices only in its page data. Ask for the price in writing before a demo, not after.

  • 3. List the hardware you already own

CloudyFy TV runs on Android 7.0 and later, Amazon Fire TV, Samsung Tizen 6.0 and later, LG webOS 6.0 and later, and any Chromium 71+ browser. Anything outside that list needs new hardware, and so does moving off a vendor-locked player.

  • 4. Write down the three things you would not give up

Then check each shortlisted platform against them, including this one. Our gaps are on every page.

  • Navori, formerly Signagelive

Three things this table does not say. Xibo's cloud prices sit in its pricing page's structured data rather than on the visible plan cards, and its entry tier carries 1 GB of storage per display and best-effort support. Navori quotes every tier, so there is no arithmetic to do there. And CloudyFy TV's caps are real caps: 25 devices on Starter, 50 on Standard, 100 on Pro, and each tile in a video wall consumes one device seat. The same three plans are ₹550, ₹1,000 and ₹1,500, or $7, $12 and $20$7, $12 and $20, or ₹550, ₹1,000 and ₹1,500 per device a month, with INR prices plus applicable GST. Yearly billing is ten months of the monthly price on every plan, so two months are free.
